Richmond Street Records is back for 2015!
New year, new RSR committee, and most importantly, a new lineup of fresh Central Institute of Technology bands that are ready to burst out onto the Perth music scene. This year’s bands are a collective of amazing talent producing innovative and eclectic sounds spanning all the genres.
Before the official Label Launch on Tuesday 22 September (save the date!) we will be giving a preview of all the bands at ‘3 Wise Gigs‘ at The Good Shepherd Leederville over 3 weeks in August.
Last Thursday 13 August we saw the first of these gigs and we appreciate everyone who came down and made it a great night. If you didn’t make it to the first gig, don’t fear because the next two Thursday’s (20 & 27 August) will be showcasing the remaining 12 bands on the label.
Thursday 13 August (pop/folk/blues)- Distant Thinking, Tone Pilots, Soapy Cactus, Wabisabi
Thursday 20 August (indie/rock/folk)- Teknicolour, Scout, 404, Fly The Flag, Wabisabi, The Shallows
Thursday 27 August (alt/prog/rock) East of Eden, Rukkus, Iridescent, Friends of Foes, Bad Habit, Occasional Symmetry
